My mission at NCJ: I AM the MAP, LLC, doing business as Be Whole with Nekohl is to Lead with Purpose

and Carry out Transformative Missions through Evangelism and Discipleship.

I AM dedicated to empowering women veteran leaders to achieve wholeness by providing education, information, and resources, while supporting them in creating their own custom tools. Through faith-driven leadership, strategic administration, and holistic support, I inspire, equip, and guide women to walk boldly in their calling and create lasting impact within their communities.

My vision is to introduce women veteran leaders to the message of hope through evangelism and walk alongside them as they grow in faith, purpose, and wholeness through discipleship.

I AM committed to creating spaces where they can discover their identity, develop custom tools for their personal and professional growth, and live out their calling with boldness and impact.

Nekohl Johnson, Bio
Nekohl Johnson, Bio
Nekohl Johnson is a U.S. Army veteran who served eight years as a 92B10 Medical Laboratory Specialist, including deployment to Saudi Arabia during the Persian Gulf War. Honorably discharged, she holds certifications in Clinical Laboratory Science, an Associate of Arts from City Colleges of Chicago, a Bachelor of Science in Business & Technical Management from DeVry University, an MBA in Executive Leadership from Olivet University, and is pursuing a Master’s in Licensed Clinical Social Work at Governors State University.
With over 35 years of experience in clinical laboratory science—rising to Director of Laboratory and Cardiopulmonary Services, corporate compliance leader, and adjunct health science professor—Nekohl now focuses on serving veterans. She facilitates the Southside Strong Coalition for Suicide Prevention Veterans Coffee Chat, leads Be Whole with Nekohl, authored A Queen Was Born Again, and founded Where We Meet Inc., a nonprofit theater company for veterans and trauma survivors. Nekohl’s current mission is supporting women veteran leaders through wholeness retreats and respite programs.​
